Phenta Plex Overview
Phenta Plex provides a very powerful stimulant effect; very laser focus, steady energy for a few hours, and massive motivation to get stuff done. This is why many say this is similar to Excelsior, but without the polarizing effects. But it is polarizing in it’s own way. Not everyone has the same experience.
Some people absolutely love it and swear by it, while others say they did not feel it (the magic).
I’d only recommend this pre workout to individuals that have used stim heavy pre workouts before and also understand that this might be “enhanced” with a special ingredient like many believed with Excelsior.
Even if you are stim junkie and like your stim heavy pre workouts, I think something like El Jefe does a much, much better job of giving a smooth experience. For us, Phenta Plex was similar to Excelsior but a step or two lower and not a dramatic crash like Excelsior.
Our Experience with Phenta Pre Workout
At the Gym (Great)
I took one scoop of Phenta Plex after work and drove over to the gym. Within 20 to 30 minutes I felt it kicking in and it was indeed intense, as advertised. Now this feels different than other pre workouts I have taken before. Even with the dmha, like I have taken hundreds of times, this was totally different. This is why many say there might have an undeclared ingredient.
To be clear: I’m only relaying my personal experience and how I felt. I have no proof any of what I’m saying is true.
Tons of energy, extreme focus ,and huge motivation came on. Decent mood elevation was experienced as well, but not the star of the show. The star of the show was a good surge of energy and laser focus. Again, it felt quite illicit.
As for pumps, there really was not anything special.
But the energy and focus lasted for hours on end.
As A Nootropic
Now as with Excelsior, I also used Phenta Plex as a nootropic. Nootropic setting meaning using it during my job, studying, writing posts (like this one), etc.
Using it on 1 scoop (as directed), all the effects started peaking 30-40 minutes in. Similar to the first time I used it, I felt is the focus and energy.
Now, this is not any typical focus. This is tunnel vision, dialed-in focus. The energy was super clean and lasted most of my day. I took Phenta Plex at 10am and felt it at 8pm.
Bottom line, similar to Excelsior.
Most importantly, I did not experience any negative side effects. Which was a huge issue with Excelsior. It was a mixed bag taking Excelsior for me, some days it would be great and others I would have a horrible crash.
All in all, I loved ABL Pharma Phenta Plex. You can use it as a pre workout and nootropic. Plus it is 30 servings so it is great value-for-money.
Phenta Plex Scoop Size
The scoop size is unusually small. Which further adds to the suspect.
Its only 6.9 grams a scoop vs El Jefe that is about 22 grams. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Phenta Plex Pre Workout Ingredients
Caffeine Anhydrous-400 mg
Caffeine needs no introduction (if you are a stim freak). Energy, focus, increased performance, etc. are all delivered by caffeine. Most common stimulant used in pre workouts and nootropics.
DMHA-100 mg
This ingredient is included in pre workouts as a central nervous system stimulant. It is a naturally occurring source of DMHA.
Synephrine HCL-100 mg
Synephrine HCL is a lipogenic, similar effects to ephedrine but with less side effects. It also has a stimulant effect many experience.
Eleuthero Root Extract-100mg
Primarily used as a stimulant. Eleuthero Root Extract is an endurance ingredient that will elongate all the effects.
Beta Alanine-Prop Blend
Beta Alanine is an ingredient we all love in pre workouts that provide the tingle feeling.
Its not really felt here though.
Taurine-Prop Blend
Taurine is an ingredient used for focus and as a cell volumizer.
Hordenine HCL-Prop Blend
